Update: Prime Minister, PN disagree with Trump on Jerusalem issue

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat has stated that he does not agree with the US President’s decision, following Trump’s declaration that the city of Jerusalem is now the capital city of Israel. Dr Muscat said this decision will lead to more extremism in the world.

Meanwhile, the Nationalist Party also said in a statement that it does not agree with Trump’s decision which it added will disrupt the peace progress. It stated that more negotiations are needed between Israel and Palestine in order for Jerusalem to be the capital city.
