A chef in a restaurant in the American state of Maine admitted that before he cooks lobsters, he drugs them with cannabis to alleviate their pain when he cooks them.
The chef took the decision after he discovered that even lobsters suffer and feel the pain, as any other creatures. Therefore, as in Maine, cannabis is legal the chef decided to show mercy and only cooks the lobsters when they are drugged with cannabis.
The Charlotte’s Legendary Lobster Pound restaurant serves lobsters, among other dishes, which is cooked in a unique way that it leaves no effect on the meat quality. However, the restaurant’s management allows its clients to decide the lobster’s cooking method – whether with this method or otherwise.
