Valletta’s Palazzo Zammitello to become boutique hotel

The MEPA Board has approved a permit for the restoration of Palazzo Zammitello in Valletta. Situated between Republic Street and South Street, Palazzo Zammitello is to become a boutique hotel.

The Environment and Planning Authority said in a statement that the permit provides for internal structural alterations and also for additional work on the extension to the third floor. It was stated that the Superintendence for Cultural Heritage had been consulted.
