Members of the Labour Party congress are today voting to elect the candidate who will be the new leader of the party. The members, amounting to some 17,500 persons, are choosing between two candidates – deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Chris Fearne and deputy Robert Abela.
Voting started at 8.00 this morning in 13 districts and will continue till 8.00 this evening. The counting of votes will be held ad the Labour National Centre in Ħamrun.
