Wanted man arrested by Police

The Police have arrested 31-year old David Liniker Micallef.

He was arrested in Naxxar Road, Birkirkara as he was entering his mother’s residence at around 2.15 in the afternoon.

TVM is informed that Micallef had not appeared in Court for an appeal sentence on a theft case, in which he was already found guilty and was sentenced for two years in prison.

The Police had then starting looking for him and also requested the public’s assistance during his search.

Following the man’s arrest, he was immediately taken to prison.

Micallef has in the past been charged and found guilty in Court of various crimes on drugs and thefts from petrol stations.
