Waste bags instead of cones at Żejtun

Although universal forms are used during painting works on road signs, it appears that creativity is not lacking.

Persons walking through Triq il-Falkunier in Żejtun today noticed this scene of waste bags placed on the ground in a triangular form around a Stop sign.

The sign appeared to have been just painted, where in such circumstances cones are normally placed so that vehicles are not driven on the freshly painted signs.

In this case, however, the cones were replaced by waste bags which were put outside homes by residents to be collected later by the waste truck.
