WATCH: 2,000 birds on show at Ħal Kirkop college

Three bird enthusiasts associations joined together to organise an exhibition with almost two thousand birds on show. The exhibition is being held at the San Benedittu college in Ħal Kirkop.

This is the first time that the Bird Breeder, Malta Cage Birds and Song Birds associations joined forces to hold this competition.

Some 130 exhibitors are participating in the show that is providing a bird spectacle of various species that are competing in various categories.

The birds on show are being judged by experts from Scotland, Italy, Belgium and Maltese. The winning birds will compete in Portugal for the world championships. The exhibition is open to the public today and tomorrow Sunday.
