WATCH: 30 ventilators and 40,000 masks arrive from China

30 ventilators known as ‘respiratory health devices’ which have been donated for free from China to Mr Reno Calleja, President of the Malta-China Friendship Society, have arrived in Malta.

In a statement the society said that these machines arrived straight from the Health Ministry warehouse so if they are needed they can be used for patients who are ill with Covid-19. It was stated that apart from these machines, 40,000 masks were also donated to the Ministry.

The society thanked the Foreign Affairs Minister Evarist Bartolo, Malta’s Ambassador to China John Aquilina, as well as all those who have cooperated for this donation to take place.
