The Prime Minister’s daughter, Giorgia Mae together with her mother Lydia, gave a helping hand at the kitchen to bake cookies for workers who are continuously fighting the Covid-19 spread.
Giorgia Mae and Lydia Abela visited the workers at Mater Dei hospital and at the Cleansing and Maintenance Division to thank them for their dedication and duties during these challenging times.
Giorgia presented sweet packets and biscuits she prepared, with the assistance of her mother and professional confectioners.
Giorgia stated that she wanted to give a small contribution to thank these courageous heroes – a gesture which was appreciated by all workers.
Dr Abela stated that, while the public is being requested to stay at home to avoid the virus, these workers are working around the clock to protect people.
