A boy who was among the 8,000 immigrants who over the last few days entered land which touches with Morocco and is controlled by Spain, managed to stay afloat thanks to plastic bottles.
A video of the immigrants entering Ceuta was shown on various media as one of the largest influx of immigrants entered European territory at one go.
Ceuta is located on the edge of Morocco, facing Spain and falls under Spanish authorities. The immigrants who hope to land there see it as their “door” to Europe.
The video of the boy arriving on the shore of Ceuta, shows one of the soldiers who was sent to the scene to control the immigrants, urging him to swim a bit more to reach land.
Although Spanish authorities have already turned back the immigrants who arrived in Ceuta, many have already said they are determined to enter the territory once again.
