WATCH: CPD director’s comments on fires that engulfed building at Luqa

During a TVM interview, the Director General of the Civil Protection Emmanuel Psaila said that the fires in Luqa started from a garage and were so intensive that they spread to the upper floors of the same building.

Mr Psaila stated that the first operation was aimed at rescuing the persons dangerously trapped inside and then some animals.
