Watch: Final preparations before lampuki season kicks off

We’re four days away from the feast of Santa Maria when the lampuki season opens. About 122 fishermen were going about the final preparations yesterday before the season officially opens.

During the blessing, a number of rosary wreaths were thrown into the fishermen’s boats as a sign of devotion. A mass was also celebrated on the shore of Marsaxlokk.
