WATCH: Frank and Carmen Sant die in Sydney collision

Frank and Carmen Sant, a Maltese couple residing in Australia, lost their lives last night after being involved in an accident in Sydney.

The collision was reported by both Australian and British media, with the couple ending up dying together after fifty years of marriage.

The accident occurred when 83-year-old Frank Sant was driving towards his home, and another car driven by a 22-year-old man impacted head-on into his car,

80-year-old Carmen Sant, who was a passenger in her husband’s car, died on impact. Frank was taken to hospital, and succumbed to his injuries shortly afterward.
