WATCH: In Dingli it’s not only the cats which are being fed

After the controversy which arose after a sign in Dingli was put up for people not to feed the cats, TVM received a video of the prevailing situation where the sign was placed.

Everything indicates that the sign was the last resort of residents who are exasperated by the large number of rats and mice running around the area near the cemetery.

These residents believe that rats are gathering there and multiplying because they are filling themselves up with the cat food. The cats, who have more than enough food, do not seem interested in eating the rats.

Other persons said that on this particular site there’s an open manhole which leads to the drainage system.
