Marinella u Francesco, owners of ‘La Fattorietta’, an agritourism in Frigintini, Sicily, welcomed the presenter of ‘TVAM’ Quinton Scerri and his team hoping to cook something healthy together.
They all rolled up their sleeves and cooked a number of focacce. Not focaccia as we Maltese and Gozitans know it. The shape and filling of Sicilian focaccia has a particular look and taste to the last.
They kneaded the dough, seasoned it with a number of fresh local mixed herbs and baked it. The smell of a crisp focaccia coming out of the oven, is simply mouthwatering.
