Watch: Safe space for autistic children

From this week, parents of children with autism can take their children to play at the ‘The Meeting Place’ in Marsa.

Marigold Foundation Chairperson Michelle Muscat said children with autism would have a safe space where to play and relax freely.

Ms Muscat said that the space would be limited to 3 families to comply with Covid-19 recommendations by Health Authorities.

The President of the Association of Parents of Children with Autism, Omar Farrugia, said that this initiative would go down well with parents who do not have open spaces at home for their autistic children.

The space will be open to families 3 times a week.
