WATCH: Search in Ħamrun following report of suspicious bomb in car

Police and Armed Forces officers this evening were called at Mile End Street in Ħamrun following a report of a suspicious bomb placed in a car.

The Police told TVM that the car which raised suspicion was an Alfa Romeo Julietta.

Shortly after 6.00pm members of the Explosive Section arrived on the spot, while Police officers closed part of the road.

It emerged in the investigations that there was a false alarm and nothing resulted from the suspected information.
