The 20-year old Somali national who earlier this month caused havoc at the Floriana health centre, was remanded in custody by the court.
Abdimalik Ahmed Mohamed, who is homeless, was accused with causing damages to computers and other sections at the entrance to the centre that was closed down for days due to the damaged caused.
The Somali had injured himself and was taken to hospital for treatment. During the incident, a security officer was also hospitalised for treatment due to broken glass cuts. The court appointed a psychiatrist to examine the mental state of the accused, while the case was adjourned for the beginning of May.
