WATCH: Tal-Ħandaq teachers burst into song at end of term

In the course of five years of secondary schooling, teachers and students build up a special rapport between them. It is not always easy for teachers to break away from students to whom they would have given their all over a five-year period.

The relationship between teachers and students at St Ignatius Secondary School in Tal-Handaq came out very clearly in a song which the teachers interpreted for their students.

The students, who may have generally seen the mainly serious side of their teachers, were taken by surprise when they saw the teachers bursting into song.

The teachers’ song  L-aħħar Lezzjoni (The Last Lesson) can be heard in this video:
