WATCH: What is Manoel Island going to look like?

The restoration project on historical buildings, environmental safeguards and development of new buildings on Manoel Island will be undertaken by MIDI under the supervision of a newly set up foundation – The Manoel Island Foundation.

This Foundation will be presided by Dr Claire Bonello, and the members are Gzira Mayor Conrad Borg Manche’, Deputy Mayor Ralph Mangion, and MIDI Chief Executive Mark Portelli.

The Foundation’s role will be to keep an eye on the works being carried out by the contractor, which will consist of restoration and development of the site according to the master plan for the project.
