What is the best treatment for child eczema?

Bath oils and other products used for bathing babies offer hardly any cure for eczema.

According to a study carried out in the UK and published in the BMJ, bath soaps and similar products used on babies have not resulted in any improvement in this condition.

Eczema is the most common skin condition in infants, in which inflammation of the skin can take years to normalise.

The study recommends that rather than using bath oils and similar products, parents should use creams or soaps specifically made for curing eczema.
