Who is in the lead?

In the wake of the earlier announcement that the Labour Party had won the European Parliament election with a gap of 51,500 votes, the scene now shifts to the candidates who will be elected. Indications about the situation will start surfacing from time to time.

Candidates who appear to be in the forefront for election on behalf of the Labour Party are Miriam Dalli, who it seems will be elected at the first count, Alfred Sant and Alex Agius Saliba, with the fourth seat about to be fought over between Dr Josianne Cutajar and Cyrus Engerer, although it seems that Dr Cutajar has a slight advantage over Engerer.

Roberta Metsola and David Casa are in the lead for the Nationalist Party.
