Woman finds two teenage boys in her home in Marsascala

A woman who lives in Triq l-Iskal in Marsascala this morning came face to face with two teenagers, aged around 16 who had entered her home.

Members of her family said that they were all at home at the time, and these two young boys still entered, probably with the intention to carry out a burglary.

When they came face to face with the owner, the boys fled the scene. Police officers were seen patrolling the area shortly afterwards.

The boys, who were wearing hoodies, were seen acting suspiciously by other residents who live in Triq is-Swejda, Triq il-Gross and Triq Hortan.

Similar incidents have been reported in Marsascala over the last few weeks, and a young boy was arrested and charged with a series of thefts.
