Work completed on Triq il-Ħamrija in Xewkija

Work has been completed on Triq il-Ħamrija in Xewkija in Gozo as part of the project for the building of new roads. Work on this km-long road was extensive, necessitating a complete overhaul with new foundations and new services including pavements,  as well as a traffic management plan.

During an on-site visit, Gozo Minister Justyne Caruana explained that the work on this street complements other already completed projects in Xewkija. The Minister announced publication of a call for offers for pavements in  Tal-Ħamrija housing estate in Xewkija to be redone.

With work completed on Triq il-Ħamrija, work has now started on Triq l-Imġarr in Nadur, and a call has also been issued for the four km Triq Marsalforn.
