Worker grievously injured in one-storey fall in Ħ’Attard

A 46-year-old man has sustained grievous injuries following a fall in Ħ’Attard. The accident occurred at about 9.00 a.m. on a site in Dun Mikiel Xerri Street.

Police said the man, a Romanian national who lives in St Paul’s Bay, slipped and fell from a height of one storey when he was dismantling some items.

A medical team was summoned and gave first aid, after which an ambulance transferred the worker to Mater Dei Hospital.

Investigations by Birkirkara District Police are ongoing.
