UPDATED: Youth in danger of dying after three-storey fall in Attard

A 17-year-old Maltese youth is in danger of dying after falling from a height in Attard. The accident occurred in Zebbug Road at about 9.50 a.m.

Police say the youth, a resident of Qormi, fell from a height of about three storeys when he was working on a construction site. TVM is informed that on falling, the youth ended up in a yard.

Police went on site together with an ambulance which transferred the youth to Mater Dei hospital, where he was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries.

Duty Magistrate Natasha Galea Sciberras was notified and has opened an inquiry. Police investigations are ongoing.
