UPDATED: Witnesses insist youth injured in Imsida accident was pushed

The youth from Mellieħa who fell off a wall near the Junior College yesterday is still in danger of dying, with witnesses insisting he was pushed.

The youth was celebrating his graduation as a nurse with a celebratory bus ride. Along the route, the youths stopped off at the Junior College, where the accident occurred.

Meanwhile, on-site witnesses who spoke with TVM stated that an argument had developed between the youth and a Junior College student. The same witnesses added that the youth was punched and pushed, and as a result he fell and hit his head on the pavement.

A Police spokesman told TVM the Police authorities had spoken with a number of persons in connection with the case.
