Four persons, including two children, have been hospitalised after a collision between two vehicles in Triq tal-Barrani, limits of Tarxien after Police were informed of the incident at about 1.30 pm this afternoon. On the scene the Police found the two cars had ended up stuck on the centre strip.
One of the vehicles, a Toyota Rav 4, was being driven by a 48-year-old woman from Sliema, with a five-year-old boy and an 18-year-old youth also in the vehicle.
The other vehicle, a Kia Picanto, was being driven by a 35-year-old man from Għaxaq, who was accompanied by a six-year-old boy.
The two children and the two drivers were conveyed to Mater Dei Hospital but their condition is not as yet known.
