“I will be meeting with investors about signing Usain Bolt” – Victor Sciriha

In developing news, Valletta FC appear to be interesting in signing former athletics champion Usain Bolt who is currently training in Australia with the football team, Central Coast Mariners.

In comments which Valletta FC President Victor Sciriha, gave to Magic Malta, he said that this afternoon he will be meeting with the new investors who are currently in Malta. Although so far the President has not been involved in the talks, he has confirmed that a person appointed by the new investors has made contact with the player’s agent, and it is not being excluded that Bolt may join the team of the reigning champions in the weeks to come.

Sciriha made it clear that ultimately, it is him, together with the Secretary and the Treasurer who need to sign the contract but he did not deny that there is interest in the Valletta club, and as he described it, “the investors know what they are doing.”
