Horticultural Show at San Anton Gardens

The Malta Horticulture Society wishes to announce that its Annual Horticultural Show will be held on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May 2019 at the historic San Anton Gardens and Palace grounds, Attard.

The Garden gates will open to the public on Saturday 4th May at 2.00pm till 10.00pm and all day Sunday 5th from 8.00am till 8.00pm as the garden will be fairy lit .

Local growers, farmers [both full time and part-time], gardening amateurs, floral designers, pot plant enthusiasts, and craftsmen, will take part in this national competition con show, the highlight of which will be the large number of fine exhibits of flower arrangements.

Exhibitors can register their entries by e-mail or when they bring their exhibits to San Anton Gardens on Saturday 4th between 7.00am and

A programme of entertainment for both days, includes various dancing exhibitions, live folk music, a village band, Malta’s only Accordion Band, a ladies fashion show, and demonstrations by craftsmen.

The theme for this year’s competition “Flower Arrangement made on the spot”, is ‘DOOR KNOCKERS” [ĦBABAT].

Entrance tickets at the gate -2 euro per person, Children under 12 enter free.
