Denise Buttigieg, Malta’s representative in the Eurovision Young dancers, had a full days so far, with a number of rehearsals and also some social activities with the others participants.
Denise is starting her days with a warm-up class where she’s getting the chance to engage in a number of different genres including modern and ballet.
She is also rehearsing her solo dance for this Saturday with her choreographer Joeline Tabone. Her solo contemporary dance is called Q.W.
Apart from the solo performance, on Saturday Denise will perform in a group performance where all 8 dancers will get to showcase their skills with the other participants. This dance is being rehearsed in two groups of 4 to ensure individual attention on all the young dancers.
On Wednesday, Denise enjoyed a social programme tour which took her to Prague’s National Theatre as well as a nice dinner with the other 7 participants from around Europe. All the dancers had a chance to mingle and get to know each other better, away from the dance studio.
On Thursday evening, Denise experienced the stage for the very first time as a camera rehearsal took place in the main hall of Prague’s Congress Centre.
