Nada Al-Ahdal is by no means a normal 11-year-old.
Her appeal and defiance in the face of one particular tradition, in Yemen, on Youtube has gone viral, with over four million views in under two days.
Ms Al-Ahdal appeals to stop once and for all child marriage tradition practiced in this country; in three minute long video she explains her plight which ultimately led her to resorting to running away from her home.
In the short clip, she poses a number of questions, among them why Yemeni children are forced into arranged marriages. She states that while she was lucky enough to escape from such a fate, other children do not manage to do so and end up committing suicide.
