Over 2000 scholarships granted in six years

315 students are set to further their studies at Doctorate and Masters Level, after receiving scholarships in a variety of studies, under the MGSS and STEPS schemes.

The Government, over a span of six years, granted over 2000 scholarships; investing a total of €19 million.

‘’The Government believes that the investment will be returned in kind, since, after completing their studies these students will help us to unleash further Malta’s potential’’ said Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi, during the presentation ceremony.

PM Gonzi, said that jobs can be created through top quality education, training and opportunities, adding that the Government is focused on offering more scholarships.
